Tony Garcia: Your Window of Opportunity
— How to get the best performance out of your talent
In photography, your equipment, and technical expertise are only two of the components necessary to capture a great shot. You must also be prepared for when your "window of opportunity" is open.
When shooting animals or children in particular, you’ll find that their attention spans are limited, and they have a tendency to get bored and want to move on to something else. Quickly.
Finding creative ways to make the experience fun and interesting in order to keep your subject engaged, may earn you their attention for a little longer, but that typically works only for a limited time. So be as prepared as you can from the get-go, to get your shots while you can. Because, when they’re done, you’re done! Good luck!
